How far do you go?
A drive time follows the roads, so it matches how far you'll really go: a river, a motorway or hills change the shape. A distance is a simple circle around your base, easy to explain on a quote. Most trades who charge for travel use drive time.
If you visit customers rather than have them come to you, Google Business Profile™ lets you list up to 20 service areas, as towns or ZIP and postal codes. Google's guidance is to keep them within about two hours' drive of your base. Copy the 20 nearest codes above and paste them in one at a time.
Drive times from openrouteservice on OpenStreetMap roads. ZIP codes from the Census Bureau's ZIP code areas; postcode districts from ONS postcode data; counties from Census boundaries. A code counts when its centre is inside your area.
