Google Maps stops you at 10. Paste up to 100 stops, get the fastest visiting order, and one link that loads the entire route.
Every stop is timed against every other on real roads (our own routing on OpenStreetMap), then a route optimiser picks the visiting order that minimises total driving time, starting at your first stop and finishing at your last. It works the same way for 3 stops or 100.
Google's app allows 10 and the documented URL parameters allow 25. We found and tested a deeper URL form that routes 100 stops, on desktop and on mobile web. Your link uses it automatically once you pass 25 stops.
