A district is the first half of a postcode (SW1A, M1, LS8). A sector adds the first digit of the second half (SW1A 1). Districts give you a broad service-area list; sectors give roughly four times finer coverage for delivery zones and catchments.
Centre points are aggregated from ONS-derived open postcode data (Contains OS data © Crown copyright and database right). Distances are measured straight-line between centre points.
