One address per line — big lists welcome

0 addresses detected

Quick answer

To convert a list of addresses to latitude and longitude for free, paste them above one per line, or upload a CSV or Excel file and pick the address column. Every row comes back with its coordinates and a confidence score, ready to download as a CSV or open as a map. US addresses are free and unlimited; addresses elsewhere have a daily free allowance. No login, no API key.

## How It Works

1

### Paste or Upload

Paste addresses one per line, or upload a CSV and choose which column has the address data.

2

### Geocode

Google Maps converts each address to lat/lng. Street-level accuracy. Handles partial addresses, city/state, and postal codes.

3

### Copy, Paste, and Map

Copy results to clipboard, paste into a Google Sheets tab named `layer_Accounts`, and load the map with the InstaMaps add-on. No file download needed.

## Common Questions

How many addresses can I geocode at once?

US addresses: as many as you have, free. The first 100 come back instantly; enter a work email and the rest of your list runs straight away, up to 20,000 per list and 25,000 US addresses a day. Addresses outside the US have a daily free allowance: 100 without an email, more with one.

What address formats work?

Full street addresses work best: "123 Main St, New York, NY 10001". A US address needs a house number, a street, and a state or ZIP. City and state alone give the city centre. PO Boxes place at the post office, not a home.

How accurate are the results?

US addresses are matched against our own address data: the published address point for the house where there is one, otherwise an estimate along the street from its house-number range. Every US row gets a confidence score: green is on the house, yellow is estimated along the street (usually within 80 m), red needs checking. Outside the US, results come from OpenStreetMap data.

Do I need an API key or an account?

No. Paste a list or upload a CSV or Excel file and download the results as a CSV. No key, no login.

Is it really free? What is the catch?

US addresses are free and unlimited because they run on our own address data, not a paid geocoding API. We ask for a work email for lists over 100 so we can tell you about new tools, and we'd love you to try the InstaMaps add-on for Google Sheets.

Can I get the census tract or check HUBZones for the same list?

Yes. The batch census tract lookup returns the tract, county and metro area (MSA/MD) for every address, and the HUBZone checker tells you which addresses are in a HUBZone and whether you meet the 35% employee rule.

What do I do with the coordinates once I have them?

Open them as a live map in one click, or download the CSV. In Google Sheets, the free InstaMaps add-on maps, routes and enriches the list with formulas like =GEOCODE() and =DISTANCE().

Can I geocode non-US addresses?

Yes, worldwide, within the daily free allowance. Include the country for best results outside the US: "10 Downing Street, London, UK".
