Squarespace's Map Block shows a pin or two, but there is no native store locator with search. Here's the no-plugin way: your locations live in a Google Sheet, and the locator drops into Squarespace as one line of embed code — search box, find-my-nearest, and directions included. Free.

The steps, in Squarespace

  1. 1List your locations in a Google Sheet (name + address), install the free InstaMaps add-on, and create your live map — or paste your list straight into the free geocoder.
  2. 2On the map, choose Share, then Store locator embed, and copy the snippet.
  3. 3In Squarespace: edit a page, add a Code Block (or Embed Block), paste the snippet, save. Works on 7.0 and 7.1.

FAQ

Do I need Business plan or higher?

Code Blocks with iframes require Squarespace Business or Commerce plans (that is a Squarespace rule for all embeds, not ours).

How do updates work?

Edit your Google Sheet. The locator syncs from the sheet, so closed stores disappear and new ones appear with no Squarespace edits.

Can customers get directions?

Yes, every result has a directions button that opens their maps app with the destination loaded.
