Maps Advanced adds thematic maps and routing with advanced business logic and longer time horizons. Salesforce's pricing table lists Advanced at $125\. The FAQ on the same page says $150\. Ask your account executive which applies. All Salesforce per-user products need an annual contract, and Salesforce does not offer trial licenses for Maps. Maps is not included in a Sales Cloud license. You buy it as an add-on, or as part of the SPM Product Suite or Agentforce 1 Sales Edition. Its pricing page says to pay for what you use and asks for a few details before it shows a price. We could not find an official per-user price, so we do not quote one here. ## What each one does Salesforce Maps lists route optimization and scheduling, Salesforce data on a map, auto-assigning leads based on location, mobile access, priority scheduling, route planning up to a quarter ahead, and rep management. Geopointe lists accounts, leads and opportunities on a live map, optimized routes, mobile check-ins with visit notes, territories with Assignment Plans and a Shape Editor, automated assignment of leads and accounts by rules, record creation from the map, and an Apex API for radial searches and distance. Ascent Cloud also sells Territory Planner and LevelEleven alongside it. On paper the core overlaps. The practical differences are the vendor relationship and the price you are quoted. If your Salesforce account team is already bundling Maps into a larger deal, that may decide it. If you want a partner product you can price separately, get a Geopointe quote. ## If you only need the map Many teams shopping for either tool want one thing first: Salesforce accounts on a map, filtered by owner or stage, before a territory review. That works from a report export. Does Salesforce Maps have a free trial? No. Salesforce's pricing page says it does not currently offer trial licenses for Salesforce Maps. Is there a free way to map Salesforce accounts? Yes.
